Why Use the Dry Box for CA Storage?

Moisture is the primary environmental cause that reduces CA shelf life. Once a bottle is opened, moisture vapor is likely to enter into the bottle. Keeping CA in a cool dry environment will significantly extend its shelf life.

 

The Dry Box is made of a special material that blocks out moisture in the air during storage. To further create a drier environment, a drying agent bag is included to be placed with the CA in the Dry Box.  When the color in the bag changes from blue to pink, the drying agent needs to be recharged or replaced.

Caution: Do not store Activators in Dry Box - the activator vapors will cure the CA.

 

Note: Freezing or refrigerating CAs may reduce the shelf life by condensing moisture inside an opened bottle.
